Books You May Want to Consider Reading During Valentines Day

Valentine's Day is just around the corner. It's that moment of the year where couples celebrate affectionately their romance and love, and for singles to find someone to set a date.

For the rest of us who doesn't have a plan to celebrate the day with someone, it's best to spend the day improving ourselves.  But it would sound cliché if I ask you to go to the gym and workout, right? Of course, because I'm a personal trainer. Instead, let's talk about some books that I highly recommend and of high-value that I believe have the potential to catapult you in the realm of success. Note, that I may not be on that position yet, but sooner or later I will be. Let's begin.

1. The 48 Laws Of Power - If you want to gain power, defend from power, or merely want to observe power, then this book might be the right fit for you. The lessons on this book may sound amoral, cunning, and ruthless to most people, but it's better for you to understand what this book is all about if you want to fight power with power or defend from it. Forewarned is forearmed.

But if you find the book brutally unethical, then the next book is amiably gentler and might be the one for you.

2. How To Win Friends And Influence People - Considered to be one of the best-selling book of all time, this book focuses more on how you deal with people. Although the advice given is very simple in nature, it's actually those simple advice that we usually take for granted; this book will be a gentle reminder for most of us.

3. Who Moved My Cheese - An entertaining book about four unique characters: the two mice (Sniff and Scurry) and two small people (Hem and Haw), who are in search for cheese, which represents your happiness and goal in life. The characters represent our human behavior on how we deal with achieving success in life and how we cope with change.

4. Start With Why - Every action, decision, and behavior starts with why. Without purpose, we're lost in an ocean of uncertainty and we don't know where we are going. To be successful, we need to know our Why and why we do what we do. This book will help you find your Why, and how you can take action so your Why will become your reality.

5. Think And Grow Rich - The granddaddy of all motivational and self-help books. Although this book has been written in 1937, it is still inspiring millions of people even up to this date and a staple in every successful men and women's library; from entrepreneurs, businessmen, salesmen, managers, students, and even blue-collared workers.

If there's only one book that you can read this year, this is the one.

Conclusions

Spending quality time with yourself is self-love, it's one of the best gift that you can give yourself this Valentine's Day. And one of the best thing that you can give yourself is the gift of knowledge. Spend the day reading one of the books above in a coffee shop, sipping your hot latté, and enjoy solitude...unless you want me to come over, I'm all go.
